Sometimes you need to export console logs from Chrome, whether that's to share with a developer or just to save them for later.

Manually exporting console logs from Chrome

To export console logs from Chrome manually:

1. Open the javascript console using the correct keyboard shortcut for your operating system - Option + Command + J on Mac, or Ctrl + Shift + J on Windows or Linux.

2. Right click anywhere in the logs area and choose Save as

   

3. Select where you want to save the file. Chrome will save it as a .log file which can be opened in any text editor.

Automatically export console logs from Chrome
