Introduction

Capture.dev helps teams report and resolve bugs faster. Record issues directly from your browser with a screenshot or screen recording, then instantly send them to your team without switching tabs or apps.

For developers, every bug report includes the technical context needed to investigate immediately: console logs, network requests, and user actions. No more "can you reproduce this?" back-and-forth or hunting for missing details.

Who is Capture for?

Product and QA teams can document bugs the moment they spot them. Capture a screenshot, describe the issue, and send it to the right place - all without leaving your browser or copying details between tools.

Developers receive bug reports with complete technical context upfront. Console logs, network activity, and reproduction steps are automatically included, so you can start investigating immediately instead of asking follow-up questions.

Support teams can empower customers to send detailed bug reports without requiring technical knowledge or juggling multiple tools.

How it works

Capture offers two ways to add bug reporting to your workflow:

Web SDK - Add a code snippet to your website. Anyone visiting your site can report bugs directly from their browser - no extension required. Works on desktop and mobile browsers, ideal for collecting reports from customers or team members.

Browser Extension - Install our Chrome extension for instant bug reporting on any website. Perfect for quick setup or testing sites you don't control. No code changes needed.

Both methods capture the same comprehensive technical context and can be integrated with your existing tools like Linear, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, and Slack.
